YOUR PERFECT GETAWAY

ON EXMOOR.

Peacock Cottage is an idyllic, cosy and well-appointed retreat.

Sitting on the banks of the East Lyn River, it is accessed by a footbridge and

set in acres of verdant National Trust woodland.

Despite the seclusion, we are only a stone's throw from the welcoming local pub, and a short stroll to another

fine country inn.

The wild beauty of open moorland, as well as the rugged coast of

North Devon, are both within

walking distance.

I COULD NOT IMAGINE
A BETTER CHOICE

"We all really needed a break from hectic city life and at Peacock Cottage we found simply the perfect retreat. We enjoyed the many walks steeped in the wild beauty of Exmoor, with the occasional rest at one of the many welcoming country pubs in the vicinity. In the evening, going back to the cottage with its lovely wood burning stove was the perfect end to the day"

"Peacock cottage is such a delightful and peaceful place to stay, beautifully presented with some lovely touches to get us on our way! Carol and Dave were so helpful - always answering our questions before and during our stay, and popping over to help us when it was needed. For people who love great walks or the peaceful serenity of a woodland cottage by a river surrounded by trees, then this is a must. A great cottage, great location, and great hosts."

A HOME AWAY
FROM HOME

" We spent a week at Peacock Cottage that none of us will ever forget. The children loved 'running wild' in the woods and playing by the water at the nearby ford. The cottage is so welcoming and well equipped that we all felt at home from day one. Adding to this, cooking on the AGA was a real treat and an experience I had been looking forward to. We already miss not waking up to the sound of the flowing river"
